Mobile phone LCD screen VS OLED screen

In our daily use of mobile phones, the most common mobile phone screens are divided into three types: LCD screen, OLED screen, IPS screen, and an IPS screen, which can be a sub-category of the LCD screen. So which is better, the mobile phone LCD screen and OLED screen? What is the difference between a mobile phone LCD screen and an OLED screen? Let's take a look!

Mobile phone LCD screen or better OLED screen

Among the mobile phones we use every day. The most common mobile phone screens are divided into three types, namely LCD screens, OLED screens, and IPS screens. However, the color of the IPS screen is relatively dull, the picture quality is relatively rough, and the definition is not high, so it has gradually been eliminated. Few better mobile phones on the market will not use this kind of screen. This screen is very cheap, and the display effect is poor, but it is more environmentally friendly, and it is generally used on some low-end mobile phones on the market. High-end mobile phones generally use LCD screens and OLED screens.

Nowadays, the mainstream screens can be attributed to two categories: LCD and OLED. The use of LCD has been relatively long, referring to the ordinary liquid crystal display screen. Sometimes LCD can also use the same name as TFT, and the TFT mentioned here belongs to a sub-category of LCD.

It is generally believed that OLED is technically more advanced than LCD. However, the development of OLED is still immature compared to CLD, and the adoption of LCD is relatively standard. IPS, TFT, and SLCD are all subclasses of LCD. Any other screen (such as iPhone's IPS screen, Samsung's AMOLED screen, or SLCD screen) belongs to the extension of these two categories.
